BOHO Apartments

BOHO is a 7-storey multi residential apartment project with fourteen 2-bedroom apartments and six 3-bedroom apartments.  It is challenging the prevailing construction methodologies by proposing the first 7 storey timber apartment building in Perth. It will be a fully timber framed construction from transfer slab upwards.  Boho will also provide generous sized 2 bedroom apartments of 90m2 and over a third of the dwellings will be 3 bedroom units up to 135m2.  All apartments have dual aspect layouts to provide good cross ventilation and take advantage of north light and the city views to the south.  Open walkways have minimized the requirement for lighting, heating, and cooling.  Infrastructure will be installed for PV solar panels. 

The built form corresponds to the surround styles and palette of Beaufort street, taking from the past whilst also looking to the future.  The design aims to contribute to the vibrant nature of the Beaufort café and retail strip, creating activity and passive surveillance of the immediate surrounds.
