Location: Brookfield Plaza, St George’s Terrace, Perth WA

Located in the new Brookfield Multiplex ‘City Square’ development off St George’s Terrace in Perth’s CBD, Choo Choos is a new, 95-person capacity, small bar. The challenge for this project was to navigate the requirements of the Departments of Health and Racing, Gaming and Liquor whilst creating a fit-out that hit the mark in the competitive and energetic new small bar scene in the city. 

Choo Choos is a long linear bar that sits adjacent to a narrow pedestrian only alleyway. It features large wall spaces which now host vibrant graphic art that supports the rustic, industrial interior. Large glazed panels at the entry to the bar open up to invite guests in and expanding the feel of the internal space.  The bar service area is located centrally, near the entry for efficient observation and service.
