The recent activity in Midland with regards to community infrastructure and an overhaul of the planning regulations by the MRA has generated many opportunities for long awaited and much needed urban revitalisation and civic amenity. This 31 room boutique hotel with bar for local developers will be one of the first projects in the extended MRA zone in Midland to utilise the potential for the area. The design aspires to balance austerity and approach-ability with contemporary luxury and generosity of space. It also attempts to explore the local context of the heritage of Midland in a modern setting.
