The Kinlock Road brief was to develop a masterplan on a large site in Ferndale.  There was a design emphasis on retaining the established trees within the site which help to define the public open spaces.  The sub division accommodates various types of residential dwellings to provide a number of alternative living arrangements and opportunities.  The scope of housing includes aged housing, grouped housing, apartments, narrow blocks, adaptable housing and standard blocks.
